Christian Students at CU Boulder is a student organization at the University of Colorado Boulder. We love the Lord Jesus (1 Cor. 2:9–10) and His Word, the Bible (Psalm 119:127; Job 23:12). Our goal is to enjoy Christ in a safe environment where students feel comfortable expressing their feelings, thoughts, and questions openly. In so doing, we aspire to know the truths of the Bible, experience the riches of Christ (Eph. 3:8), and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those around us (Rom. 1:16).
Christian Students at CU Boulder (CSCUB) believes the key to a purpose-filled living lies in developing an intimate and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ through His word (S.S. 1:2; Matt. 4:4; Phil. 3:10). In addition, we believe that human beings, and especially Christians, are community-oriented (Rom. 12:5), and that our Christian life is strengthened by meeting together with other believers (Rom. 1:12) to encourage one another (Heb. 10:25), build ourselves up in our most holy faith (Jude 20), and experience the reality of the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:27).
Hence, we strive to pursue Christ by enjoying Him together through singing hymns, reading the Bible, open discussions, and club events (e.g. retreats to Estes Park, hikes at Chautauqua, family dinners, and more). Believer, non-believer, or just interested, we encourage all to be a part of our community.
We also seek to connect students to the broader Boulder community, forming lifelong connections to peers, mentors, and people of all ages. CSCUB can be your home away from home!
Good Christian friends. Community support. Lifelong relationships. Spiritual growth that enables us to live a meaningful, fulfilled life. Come grow with us! Together, our faith changes the world and hastens the coming back of our Lord Jesus (2 Pet. 3:12; Psa. 2:8; Rev. 12:10-12) to gain the whole earth (2 Pet. 3:12; Psa. 2:8; Rev. 12:10-11). Praise Jesus!
